Your business workspace The downloadable PC editions and Apple edition keep your book records, contacts, financial notes, research and attachments on your own device. The developer does not collect that workspace content. Author Business does not send writing for AI analysis and includes no developer analytics or advertising SDK.

Backups and transfers You choose where exported project files and documents go. OneDrive, iCloud Drive and other providers you use operate under their own policies. File transfers are manual; there is no developer cloud synchronization for these editions. Removing the app or clearing browser storage can remove local records. Keep exported backups.

Purchases on the website PayPal processes payment under its own policies; the seller does not receive your full card details. The Author Business checkout stores order and capture references, payment status, delivery consent, a purchase-terms snapshot, dates and a protected download entitlement. These records support delivery, customer support, accounting and fraud prevention. The sales service keeps an essential checkout reference in session storage so you can retry confirmation. Its payment page loads PayPal's checkout script; PayPal can process connection and device information under its own notices. The public marketing page links to the payment service and does not load that script.

Apple purchases and reminders For the Apple edition, Apple processes App Store payments under its own policies. Workspace data remains local. Optional device reminders are scheduled locally after you allow notifications; no server push or staff notification is sent. Disable them in the Device menu or iOS Settings. Your notification settings affect delivery.

External sites Research links open external websites, which have their own policies. The hosting service processes technical connection information to deliver pages. No marketing signup or advertising tracking is added by these Author Business pages.

Records and rights The seller keeps purchase records for the applicable accounting period and restricts access to those needed to provide delivery, support and required business services. Contact [email protected] about your data rights or privacy concerns. A workspace file remains under your control unless you choose to send it to someone.
